Texas Rangers host Los Angeles Angels and Milwaukee Brewers during six-game, seven-day homestand at Globe Life Field

Rangers hold division lead of 2.0 games over Houston; Club hosts Los Angeles and Milwaukee for three games each during weeklong homestand

Arlington, Texas— The American League West Division-leading Texas Rangers return home to Globe Life Field on Monday, August 14 when they begin a six-game, seven-day homestand against the Los Angeles Angels and Milwaukee Brewers. Entering play today, the Rangers boast the best home record in baseball with a 40-20 record.

Texas welcomes their division rival, the Los Angeles Angels for a three-game series, Monday, August 14 – Wednesday, August 16. All three games against the Angels are set to begin at 7:05 p.m. CT. Following a team off day, the Rangers host the Milwaukee Brewers for three games, Friday, August 18 – Sunday, August 20. The series opener against Milwaukee begins at 7:05 p.m., followed by a 3:05 p.m. start on Saturday and a 1:35 first pitch for the homestand finale.

Tickets for all six games at Globe Life Field can be purchased at rangers.com, by calling 972-RANGERS and at the Globe Life Field box office, which is located adjacent to the Southeast entrance. Availability is extremely limited on Saturday, August 17 vs. Milwaukee. Pregame tours presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts are for sale August 14-16 against Los Angeles and August 18 and 19 vs. Milwaukee and can be purchased at www.globelifefield.com/tours.

The homestand begins on Monday, August 14 with Mariachi Monday, presented by T-Mobile. The official Mariachi de los Texas Rangers provides live music entertainment with a brief pregame performance and in-between select innings. For more information, visit rangers.com/mariachimondays.

Game two of the series against Los Angeles is a Coca-Cola Family Fun Tuesday on August 15. Fans can enjoy discounts on ticket prices, parking, food and drink, plus meet Rangers players and/or coaches with a pregame autograph session from 5:30-6:00 p.m., presented by Golden Chick. The series finale on Wednesday, August 16 is all about dogs and it begins with Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dogs. It’s also Bark at the Park Night, presented by The Farmer’s Dog. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Grapevine resident, Rickey Hill. Hill is the subject in the upcoming baseball movie, The Hill, which stars Dennis Quaid and Colin Ford. Based on a true story, the movie depicts Hill overcoming massive hardships to go on to play professional baseball in the Montreal Expos organization.

On Wednesday, the Texas 2 Split 50/50 Raffle presented by Kroger will benefit ovarian cancer research.

The Milwaukee Brewers make their first and only visit to Globe Life Field, Friday, August 18 – Sunday, August 20. The series kicks off with the Pregame Happy Hour presented by Anheuser-Busch in the Karbach Brewing Sky Porch. Fans can enjoy $4 beers from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Former Rangers pitcher Mike Adams will sign autographs in the New Era Alumni Alley from 5:15-6:15.

The annual Gold Ball Mystery Fundraiser is set for Friday against Milwaukee with all proceeds set to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Located outside the Grand Slam Team Store from 5:00 p.m. to the top of the fifth inning, fans have an opportunity to purchase Gold Ball Mystery bags for $50 and $25 each. Fans who find one of eight “gold balls” will receive four tickets in the Lexus Club for a select 2023 regular season game, donated by Corey and Mady Seager. 

The Rangers will sport their City Connect uniforms Friday and Saturday against Milwaukee. Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery will be serving food out of the Arlington Eats stand near section 101 for all three games of the Milwaukee series.

Saturday, August 19 is the Nolan Ryan Baseball Card Bobblehead giveaway, presented by Medical City Healthcare, to the first 15,000 fans. From 1:30-3:00 p.m., the Pregame Happy Hour Presented by Anheuser-Busch is in the Karbach Brewing Sky Porch where fans can enjoy $4 beers.

Former Rangers first baseman Rafael Palmeiro will sign autographs in the New Era Alumni Alley from 1:15-2:15.

Teacher Appreciation Day begins with a special pregame ceremony. The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will recognize Regional Teacher of the Year for Regions 10 and 11. Four teachers will be awarded $1,000 donations from the Foundation. Additionally, every Region 10 and Region 11 District Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year will be awarded with a $100 Amazon gift card.

Saturday is also By Way of Dallas Night at Globe Life Field. The collaboration is in the form of a theme night and all fans that purchase a special By Way of Dallas theme night ticket receive a custom co-branded Texas Rangers/By Way of Dallas jacket. Immediately following the game, Viva Tejas presented by Viva First makes its return to the CBD Kratom Backyard at Texas Live! Fans can enjoy live music by La Maquinaria Norteña, artwork, authentic food, and micheladas.

The homestand concludes with a Sunday matinee at 1:35 p.m. against the Brewers. Two Sunday favorites are on the menu for kids 13 and under - $1 Blue Bell Ice Cream and postgame run the bases.
