SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres today announced that The Links at Petco Park presented by Lexus, the original and best nine-hole ballpark golf experience, will return for the seventh year in a row with a special summer edition from Friday, July 16 to Sunday, July 18. The three-day event will be held during the baseball season for the first time in its history with golfers having the unique opportunity to take shots onto the playing field from various tees along an unrivaled course within the ballpark.
The course will consist of a combination of signature holes from years past, including from the Padres dugout, along with new themed holes and the opportunity to win different prizes. Golfers will be escorted by their own dedicated caddy for the entirety of the course. Upon completion of their round, golfers will finish their day in the Western Metal Loft, which will be transformed into The Links clubhouse. There, they will have the opportunity to relax with additional food and beverages available for purchase, watch other golfers along the course, putt on a putting green and shop for commemorative items. Participants will be able to bring their own select clubs (wedges and irons only) or rent a limited number of Callaway clubs on-site, if needed.
The Links at Petco course will be open for three days only and golfers can book their tee times starting this week. Padres Season Ticket Members and partners will have access to a special Premium tee time presale beginning Wednesday, June 23 between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at www.padres.com/thelinks Past buyers, wait list registrants and Padres email subscribers will also have the opportunity to secure their Premium tee time beginning at 2:00 p.m. Tee times for the general public will go on sale Friday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. Entry may be purchased for twosomes or foursomes with tee times ranging throughout the day beginning at 7:00 a.m. and running through 9:00 p.m. for all three dates.
Pricing starts at $150 per player. The cost includes a limited-edition “The Links at Petco Park” hat, a nine-hole round for each golfer, scorecard, access to the clubhouse, a gift bag and a dedicated caddy for each foursome. Golfers may also pre-purchase Padres Premier Lot parking passes to any package for an additional cost. Premium packages will also be available for $250 per player and include a Padres Field Level ticket to a home game between July 27 and August 1, two drink tickets per person, and one parking pass per twosome in addition to everything included in the standard package. Spectator tickets will also be available for $10 with access to the Western Metal Loft clubhouse only.
