Today’s Twins-Tigers game postponed

April 11th, 2024

DETROIT – Due to the forecast of inclement weather throughout the day, today’s game between the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Saturday with the first game starting at 1:10 p.m. and the second game starting approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. Both games will air on Bally Sports Detroit and are also available on 97.1 The Ticket and the Tigers Radio Network.

The only tickets valid for Saturday’s straight doubleheader will be those for Saturday’s originally scheduled 1:10 p.m. game. Friday night’s 6:40 p.m. game will be the first Party in the Park, presented by Casamigos Tequila, of the 2024 season. Starting when gates open until first pitch, fans can enjoy signature drink specials on the Comerica Landing, live music, photo opportunities, and other fun activities throughout the ballpark. Due to a forecast of high winds and out of abundance of caution, Friday’s post-game fireworks show has been canceled.

For Saturday’s straight doubleheader, the first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive a Tigers Beanie presented by Bally Sports Detroit. Sunday’s series finale at 1:40 p.m. is Chevy Sunday Kids Day. Young fans (14 and under) can get player autographs on the concourse and enjoy free rides on the Ferris Wheel and Hi-Chew Carousel. After the game, children are invited to the field for “Kids Run the Bases” sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
