Twins 2022 single-game tickets to go on sale Thursday, March 17, at 10 a.m.; no fees for first 48 hours

Tickets available for April 7 Opening Day and all 81 Twins home games at Target Field; Club also announces initial 2022 promotional lineup and ticket specials

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that single-game tickets for the club’s 2022 regular season home schedule will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. CT, and – in celebration of welcoming fans back to Target Field – there will be no fees on any ticket purchase made in the first 48 hours. Tickets for all 81 home games at Target Field, including Opening Day of the 2022 Major League Baseball season on April 7 vs. the Seattle Mariners, will be available online via twinsbaseball.com.

Additionally, the Twins unveiled their initial 2022 special events and promotions schedule, along with daily ticket specials and in-ballpark activations available all season long. (Please note that the annual Theme Nights lineup will be announced, with tickets available, on March 24.)

2022 Special Events and Promotions Highlights (as of March 11)

The Twins’ initially-announced lineup of special events and promotions for 2022 features celebrations of a Hall of Fame summer in Minnesota and Cooperstown, along with many returning favorites throughout the season.

  • Opening Weekend Jacket: Fans can celebrate baseball’s return with a Twins Opening Weekend Jacket, courtesy of Your Local Northland Ford Dealers, throughout Opening Weekend (April 7-10 vs. Seattle; first 10,000 fans).
  • Jim Kaat Number Retirement presented by Sheboygan Sausage Company: Jim Kaat will become the ninth Twin to have his number retired when the club officially hangs his #36 from the left field façade prior to their Saturday, July 16 game against the Chicago White Sox. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Jim Kaat bobblehead presented by the Sheboygan Sausage Company.
  • Welcome Back from Cooperstown presented by Coordinated Business Systems: Following their July 24 induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, fans are invited to join the Twins in honoring legends Jim Kaat and Tony Oliva with a special pregame ceremony prior to the August 6 game vs. Toronto. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a special “Tony O” bobblehead courtesy of Coordinated Business Systems.
  • Twins Hall of Fame Weekend presented by Coordinated Business Systems: Nearly the entire 61-year history of Twins Territory will come together the weekend of August 20-21, as former manager Ron Gardenhire (Saturday, August 20), along with two-time World Series champion outfielder and longtime broadcaster Dan Gladden and sparkplug utility player César Tovar (Sunday, August 21) are inducted into the Twins Hall of Fame in pregame ceremonies. The first 10,000 fans on Saturday receive one of three Twins Hall of Fame “mystery caps,” while the first 5,000 fans on Sunday will get a Twins Hall of Fame collectible pin set.
  • Buck Yeah!: The Twins’ third bobblehead giveaway of the season is August 27, when the first 10,000 fans will walk away with a statuette of centerfielder Byron Buxton, courtesy of Delta Air Lines.
  • Apparel: Twins swag will be given away throughout the season, including the Opening Weekend Jackets presented by Your Local Northland Ford Dealers (April 7-10; first 10,000 fans); a Bomber Cap presented by Pepsi (April 24; first 10,000 fans); a Twins Cap to match your Opening Weekend Jacket (May 27; first 10,000 fans); and a Bucket Hat presented by Lee County (July 1 vs. Baltimore; first 5,000 fans).
  • For the Kids: Younger Twins fans are sure to enjoy the following (all first 5,000 kids 12 & under): Play Ball T-shirt presented by Chevrolet (June 12 vs. Tampa Bay); a Back-to-School backpack presented by Target (July 17 vs. Chicago-AL and August 7 vs. Toronto); a Toy Tractor presented by Case IH (August 28 vs. San Francisco); the T.C. Build-A-Bear presented by U.S. Bank (September 10 vs. Cleveland).
  • Celebrations: The Twins are again recognizing several groups and communities, including Pride Night presented by Target (July 15; those who purchase this Theme Night package, available at a later date, will receive a Pride-themed tank top); Celebrate Diversity Day presented by Treasure Island Resort & Casino (August 15 vs. Kansas City; first 10,000 fans will receive a special gift); Native American Heritage Night presented by the Prairie Island Indian Community (August 16 vs. Kansas City; the first 10,000 fans will receive a special gift); Armed Forces Appreciation Day presented by Thomson Reuters (September 11 vs. Cleveland); and Hispanic Heritage Night (September 28 vs. Chicago-AL). The Twins will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier with “42” Day on April 12 when the club hosts the Los Angeles Dodgers; additionally, the team will join all of Major League Baseball for Roberto Clemente Day on September 15 vs. Kansas City, a recognition of the late Hall of Famer’s on-field and philanthropic legacy.
  • Fan Appreciation Weekend and Kids Appreciation Day: The final home weekend of the 2022 regular season occurs September 23-25 as the Twins host the Los Angeles Angels. The first 20,000 fans through the gates for both Fan Appreciation Weekend games presented by Caribou Coffee (September 23 and 24) will receive a Twins Beanie; on Kids Appreciation Day presented by Target (September 25), the first 5,000 children 12-and-under in attendance will receive a specially-designed Twins Kids Beanie.

2022 Ticket Specials and In-Ballpark Activations

The Twins are also introducing new daily ticket specials and in-ballpark, game day activations, while bringing back some traditional favorites:

  • “Four Pack” presented by U.S. Bank (Monday-Thursday): Every Monday through Thursday game (excluding Opening Day), U.S. Bank provides fans with all the items you need for a day or night at the ballpark: a U.S. Bank Home Run Porch View or Field Box ticket, along with a hot dog, Pepsi and chips.
  • Student Discount (Monday-Thursday): The Twins’ popular student discount – $5 for any student – is now available for every Monday through Thursday game (excluding Opening Day). Tickets are available via mobile delivery; plus, students can download a free Metro Transit ride pass.
  • Military Discount presented by Jack Daniel’s and Bally Sports North (Monday-Thursday): Active military members or veterans with a valid ID, plus up to three guests, receive half-price Diamond Box High or Home Plate View tickets every Monday through Thursday game (excluding Opening Day).   • Treasure Island Resort & Casino Senior Days (Weekday Day Games): Thanks to Treasure Island Resort & Casino, fans 55 and better receive a $5 discount on Field Box, Treasure Island Cove and Left Field Bleacher tickets for all weekday day games (excluding Opening Day).

  • Kids Day presented by Gillette Children’s and Target (Sundays): Every Sunday, kids’ meals are half price – just $4! Postgame, kids are welcome to live out some big-league dreams by running the bases.
