Gift boxes filled with prizes hidden throughout ballpark grounds

August 6th, 2021

MILWAUKEE -- It’s time to wake up, Brewers fans, because the first-ever Brewers Sunrise Scavenger Hunt is currently underway at American Family Field. The event begins NOW, with an immediate start time of 5 a.m. sharp.

Over the last few hours, 250 Brewers gift boxes filled with prizes have been hidden throughout the exterior grounds of American Family Field. Prizes include game tickets, autographed memorabilia, game-worn jerseys, a night in a Brewers Club Suite, celebrity meet and greets, and much more.

Fans are welcome to search for and claim a gift box while supplies last. Rules for the event are at brewers.com/sunriserules.

Brewers executives and personalities are currently on hand at the event to meet and greet fans. This includes the most famous four-legged Brewers personality of all-time, “Hank The Ballpark Pup,” as he makes his triumphant return to the public eye.

This will be a rare public appearance from the friendly canine that captured the hearts of baseball fans and animal lovers worldwide when he was rescued as a stray at Brewers Spring Training back in 2014.

Parking is available for fans and media in the Brewers 2 Lot. Fans must be 16-or-older and show valid identification to claim a prize, limit one per person. Each gift box will contain a certificate for a prize that must be brought to the redemption table at the clocktower entrance of American Family Field by 8 a.m. today.

In addition to a variety of unique prizes, many of the boxes include a surprise – tickets to one of this weekend’s exciting games featuring two of MLB’s hottest teams, the Milwaukee Brewers and San Francisco Giants, both leading their respective divisions as the pennant chase continues.

The Sunrise Scavenger Hunt recalls the days when hundreds of yard gnomes featuring the Johnsonville Famous Racing Sausages™ were planted throughout the ballpark grounds. Thousands of fans turned out for those events to claim their very own yard ornament.
