CHICAGO – Following today’s split doubleheader vs. Kansas City, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Alex McRae to Class AAA Charlotte.

McRae, 28, served as the 27th man and allowed one run on three hits in the seventh inning of Game 1. He has surrendered one run with one strikeout in 2.0 IP over two relief appearances this season.

Following the move, the White Sox active roster returns to 26.
