MIAMI – The Miami Marlins and Humana are celebrating the final Senior Days presented by Humana in grand style with GRAMMY© Award-winning artist Willy Chirino. This Thursday, September 12, Chirino will be at the Humana Cabana at Marlins Park for a meet-and-greet with fans until 12:30 p.m. before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

The Cuban-born musician is recognized throughout the world as the creator of the Miami Sound, a unique fusion of Cuban music, rock, jazz, Brazilian and Caribbean rhythms. Chirino, in his 48th year in the music business, was honored in 2014 by the Latin Recording Academy with a special lifetime achievement award. He also received a GRAMMY© Award in 2005 for best Salsa/Merengue album.

This season, the Miami Marlins introduced Senior Days presented by Humana to provide fans 65 years or older the ability to receive one complimentary ticket to each Thursday home game. Fans simply must show their identification card at Humana Cabana entrance at Marlins Park to receive their ticket. The Humana Cabana was unveiled earlier this year with seniors and Marlins players participating in a Zumba class on the field at Marlins Park. The Humana Cabana offers a space to cool down and relax for seniors to enjoy before, during and after the game.
