The Texas Rangers today announced the promotions of Jake Krug to National Crosschecker and Ross Fenstermaker to International Crosschecker.
Krug has spent 14 seasons in a variety of roles in baseball operations with the Rangers, including the last three as Special Assignment Crosschecker in amateur scouting. He is an Arlington native and graduated from the University of Texas.
Fenstermaker has worked eight years in baseball operations for major league clubs, spending the last seven with Texas. He has been a Professional Scout the past five seasons. Fenstermaker pitched collegiately at the University of California-Davis.
