Red Sox trade Minor League outfielder Lorenzo Cedrola to Cincinnati

The Boston Red Sox today traded minor league outfielder Lorenzo Cedrola to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for international amateur signing bonus pool space.

BOSTON -- The Boston Red Sox today traded minor league outfielder Lorenzo Cedrola to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for international amateur signing bonus pool space.
President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski made the announcement.
Cedrola, 20, has appeared in 50 games with Single-A Greenville this season, batting .318 (67-for-211) with a .776 OPS. The right-handed hitting outfielder was signed by the Red Sox as an international free agent on February 7, 2015 and has spent his entire professional career in the Boston organization, batting .302 (315-for-1,044) with seven home runs in 262 minor league games. A native of Venezuela, he has made 211 starts in center field, 26 in right field, and nine in left field.
