KANSAS CITY, MO -- For one weekend each month throughout the 2018 season, fans at Kauffman Stadium will be treated to a unique and memorable experience as the Club shows what has made the Royals, fans and Kansas City so special over the last 50 seasons. During these themed weekends, Royals alumni will participate in special in-stadium recognitions and select events throughout the community. Fans will also enjoy many unforgettable in-park video retrospectives, special guests, autograph opportunities along with one-of-a-kind 50th Season giveaway items. JUNE 16 & 17: FAMILY & FAN TRADITIONS
During Father's Day weekend the Royals will host the Houston Astros (June 15-17) and honor the unique and timeless traditions of Royals fans while celebrating those players who shared the special bond of sharing a last name and also a franchise name.
Saturday, June 16 - Houston Astros vs. Royals, 1:15 p.m.
The Club will thank those who have remained loyal to the franchise as we honor long-time Season Ticket Members.
Giveaway: The first 10,000 fans will receive a special edition Royals cap featuring the 50th Season logo, courtesy of Price Chopper and Pepsi.
Sunday, June 17 - Houston Astros vs. Royals, 1:15 p.m.
The Club will look back at some of the families who have worn Royals jerseys throughout the 50 seasons: George and Ken Brett, Hal and Brian McRae, Floyd and Brian Bannister, and John and Dusty Wathan.

Giveaway: In honor of Father's Day, the first 10,000 males will receive 50th Season Royals-branded BBQ tongs, courtesy of Price Chopper.
