Royals Homestand Highlights: September 26-October 1

The Kansas City Royals will return home for the final homestand of the regular season when they host the Detroit Tigers (September 26-September 28) and Arizona Diamondbacks (September 29-October 1).

The Kansas City Royals will return home for the final homestand of the regular season when they host the Detroit Tigers (September 26-September 28) and Arizona Diamondbacks (September 29-October 1). The homestand will feature Paint at the Park (September 28), Futures Night (September 29) and Fan Appreciation Night (September 30). Fans will also be able to pick up the final bobblehead of the Memorable Moments Series, featuring Royals Hall of Famer George Brett (September 30). Please see below for more details.

Tuesday, September 26 - Detroit Tigers vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

· Love Your Melon Night - The Royals are excited to host the first Love Your Melon Night. Fans who purchase the special Theme Ticket package will receive a ticket to the game and a limited-edition "Kansas City Royals Love Your Melon" beanie (photo attached). This royal blue and gray speckled beanie is made out of 100% cotton thick knit yarn from St. Paul, Minn. Redemption will be at Gate A from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the 2nd inning.

· The Hartford's Junior Fire Marshal Night - The Hartford honors its Junior Fire Marshal Program at Kauffman Stadium. During a pregame ceremony, children will be encouraged to take part in the Junior Fire Marshal pledge about fire safety with Chief Fire Marshal Floyd Peoples of the Kansas City, Mo., Fire Department. Since 1947, The Hartford's Junior Fire Marshal program has deputized more than 110 million children. The company's signature red fire helmets have been proudly displayed by generations of children who have learned the basics of fire safety through this innovative and educational program. The program teaches lifesaving lessons such as Stop, Drop and Roll, Go Low in Smoke and Draw a Home Fire Escape Plan. · Mini Firefighter Helmets - In conjunction with Firefighter Appreciation Night and the Jr. Fire Marshall Program, the first 5,000 kids will receive a Mini Firefighter Helmet and a fire safety educational guide, courtesy of The Hartford.

· Student Night - Student Night presented by INK Magazine - Outfield Plaza or View Reserved tickets are available for the final Wednesday home game for youth and students with a valid ID at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office for just $10. Friday, September 29 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

· Futures Night - The Royals salute the Pitchers and Players of the Year from each of the Club's minor league affiliates prior to the game. The players are scheduled to participate in a free autograph session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. near Gate A across from the Royals Hall of Fame before receiving their awards in a special pregame ceremony.

Saturday, September 30 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.

· Memorable Moments Bobblehead Series: George Brett - The first 20,000 fans will receive a bobblehead of Royals Hall of famer George Brett to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his 3,000th hit, courtesy of Konica Minolta (photo attached).
