CHICAGO – Prior to today’s game vs. Detroit, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher Ryan Burr on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to April 25) with A/C joint inflammation in his right shoulder.

Burr, 24, is 1-0 with a 5.68 ERA (8 ER/12.2 IP) and 10 strikeouts over 10 relief appearances this season.

The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night’s series opener vs. Baltimore.
