The 19th annual Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic concluded over the weekend at Minute Maid Park with Texas A&M being named the Tournament Champions with a perfect 3-0 record. Over 25,000 fans were in attendance over the weekend to watch the nine-game tournament. The Aggies finished as the only undefeated team in the tournament, edging out Rice and Texas State, which both finished 2-1. Big 12 teams Baylor and TCU finished 1-2, while Houston finished 0-3.

The 2019 Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic All-Tournament Team was highlighted by the Classic’s Most Outstanding Player RHP Nicholas Fraze from Texas State. Fraze tossed 7.0 shutout innings on Friday vs. Rice, allowing just two walks, while fanning 12. He carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning in the Bobcats 1-0 win.
