Texas Rangers add Josh Abbott Band to post-game concert lineup

The Texas Rangers today announced an addition to this season's post-game concert lineup, as the Josh Abbott Band, presented by Budweiser, will take the stage following the Sunday, May 6, game against the Boston Red Sox.

The Texas Rangers today announced an addition to this season's post-game concert lineup, as the Josh Abbott Band, presented by Budweiser, will take the stage following the Sunday, May 6, game against the Boston Red Sox. 
A nationally recognized Texas Country band which began in Lubbock, TX, JAB is known for their Top 10 debuts on the Billboard country albums chart with 2012's Small Town Family Dream, 2015's Front Row Seat, and their latest 2017 release "Until My Voice Goes Out". The Josh Abbott Band has made numerous national television appearances including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CONAN. 
"We're excited to welcome the Josh Abbott Band to our lineup of post-game concerts," Sean Decker, Rangers Senior Vice President of Operations and Events said. "The Texas Country band adds to our great lineup of post-game concerts for the season."
Concert admission is included in the price of tickets for that night's game, and field passes for closer access to the show may be purchased for $12 by visiting texasrangers.com/concerts.
This season's post-game concert lineup now includes five bands, with the first concerts on deck for the upcoming homestand on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 following the Rangers games against the Mariners. Smash Mouth, presented by Budweiser will take the stage on April 21, followed by Siggno on April 22.
