Texas Rangers recall of Delino Deshields from Round Rock

--OF Delino DeShields recalled from Triple-A Round Rock.
--RHP Ariel Jurado recalled from Double-A Frisco.
--OF Ryan Rua placed on the 10-day disabled list with muscle spasms in his back.
--LHP Brandon Mann optioned to Round Rock.
DeShields is 2-for-12 in 3 games at Round Rock since being optioned to the Express on July 24. With Texas he is batting .204 with2 homers, 18 RBI, and 18 stolen bases in 77 games in 2018.
Jurado, who will makes his second major league start tonight against the Astros in Houston, is 5-3 with a 3.28 ERA in 16 starts for Frisco in 2018. He made a spot start in his Major League debut on May 19 at the Chicago White Sox, losing 5-3 (4.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R-ER, 2 BB, 2 SO).
Rua was scratched from last night's starting lineup after experiencing back issues in batting practice. He is hitting .194 with six homers and 12 RBI in 47 games for the Rangers in 2018.
Mann has allowed four runs in 1.1 innings in two appearances since his recall from Round Rock on July 24. Overall, he has a 6.14 ERA in six games over three stints with Texas in his first big league action in 2018.
With today's moves, Texas' Major League roster remains at 40 players.
CHRIS MARTIN TO MAKE REHAB APPEARANCE AT ROUND ROCK ON SUNDAY: RHP Chris Martin will be sent to Triple-A Round Rock on rehab assignment on Sunday and is scheduled to pitch one inning for the Express against Reno at the Dell Diamond. Martin has been on the 10-day DL since July 5 with a left groin strain. Martin is 1-2, 4.32 in 28 games with Texas in 2018.
