OAKLAND, Calif. -- Tickets for tonight's Oakland A's game at the Oakland Coliseum are sold out.
The Oakland Coliseum single-game baseball record for attendance is 55,989 set on June 26, 2004 vs. the San Francisco Giants. For the first time in 13 years, Mount Davis will be open for tonight's game only. Capacity of Mount Davis is 8,190, bringing the total Oakland Coliseum capacity to 56,782.
Tonight is projected to be the largest single-game crowd in Major League Baseball this season, besting the 53,904 fans at the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs game at Dodger Stadium on June 26, 2018.
The A's first sellout of the 2018 season was last night at 45,606. Last night's crowd was the largest paid attendance for an A's game at the Coliseum since 47,385 on Aug. 13, 2005 vs. Minnesota Twins. The club's record for attendance during a three-game series is 158,152 from June 25-27, 2004 vs. the Giants.
