Twins acquire jacob pearson from Angels for international bonus pool cap space

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have acquired outfielder Jacob Pearson from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in exchange for $1,000,000 in international bonus pool cap space money.

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have acquired outfielder Jacob Pearson from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in exchange for $1,000,000 in international bonus pool cap space money.
Pearson, 19, played 40 games for the AZL Angels last season, hitting .226 (35-for-155) with seven doubles, one triple, 13 RBI, five stolen bases and 15 walks. He was drafted by the Angels in the third round (85th overall) of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft out of West Monroe High School in West Monroe, Louisiana.
