Twins announce 2022 Spring Training home schedule

Twins Spring Training home schedule features 17 games; Grapefruit League opener set for Saturday, February 26 vs. Toronto

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins today announced the home schedule for their 2022 Spring Training campaign, the club’s 32nd at CenturyLink Sports Complex in Lee County, FL.

The Twins 2022 spring schedule features 33 total games (17 home, 16 road), with the home opener set for Friday, February 25, an exhibition game against the University of Minnesota. The Twins’ Grapefruit League opener is set for the following day, Saturday, February 26 when they host the Toronto Blue Jays.

Highlighting the Twins’ 16 home Grapefruit League games will be four contests against the Boston Red Sox (March 11, 19, 27 and 28); two games apiece against the Toronto Blue Jays (February 26 and March 2), Baltimore Orioles (March 1 and 25), Tampa Bay Rays (March 4 and 12) and Atlanta Braves (March 16 and 22); as well as single games against the New York Yankees (March 6), Philadelphia Phillies (March 9), Detroit Tigers (March 14) and Pittsburgh Pirates (March 21).

The Twins will conclude their 2022 Spring Training schedule on Tuesday, March 29 with a road contest against the Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park, before beginning the 2022 regular season with an Opening Day American League Central division contest against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, March 31 at Guaranteed Rate Field.
