MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, today announced the home schedule for their 2024 Spring Training campaign, the club’s 34th at Lee County Sports Complex in Fort Myers, FL.

The Twins’ 2024 spring schedule features 34 total games (18 home, 16 road), a slate that begins with a home exhibition contest at Hammond Stadium against the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday, February 23. The first of 33 official Grapefruit League games occurs the next day, Saturday, February 24, when the Twins host the Pittsburgh Pirates at Hammond.

Highlights of the Twins’ 18 home games include the return of the Gophers exhibition (February 23) and the Grapefruit League opener against the Pirates (February 24, for Pittsburgh’s lone visit of the spring); three contests against the Boston Red Sox (March 1, 6 and 18) as part of the annual Fort Myers “Chairman’s Cup” series; three games vs. the Atlanta Braves (March 4, 22 and 26); two apiece against the Baltimore Orioles (February 28 and March 24) and Tampa Bay Rays (March 3 and 16); and singular visits by the Philadelphia Phillies (February 27), New York Yankees (March 9), Washington Nationals (March 10), St. Louis Cardinals (March 13), Toronto Blue Jays (March 14) and Detroit Tigers (March 20).

The Twins conclude their Spring Training schedule on Tuesday, March 26 with a home game against Atlanta, before beginning the 2024 regular season on Thursday, March 28, with an Opening Day contest against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
