Twins announce plans for Prep Baseball Week at Target Field

The Minnesota Twins today announced plans for the fifth annual Twins Prep Baseball Week, a week celebrating prep baseball throughout the state of Minnesota.

The Minnesota Twins today announced plans for the fifth annual Twins Prep Baseball Week, a week celebrating prep baseball throughout the state of Minnesota. The Twins will be involved in a variety of prep baseball events throughout the week. A complete list of event details is below.
Monday, June 19
What: The Minnesota Twins will host the annual MSHSL Prep Baseball Championships at Target Field.
When: Games will be played at the following times (Gates open at 9 a.m.):
10 a.m. - Class A Championship
1 p.m. - Class AA Championship
4 p.m. - Class AAA Championship
7 p.m. - Class AAAA Championship
Where: Target Field
Tickets: Tickets will be available at the Target Field Box Office one hour before each session begins. Tickets will be $10 for adults and $7 for students.
Friday, June 23
What: The Twins will sponsor two clinics featuring players from the Play Ball! Minnesota High School Baseball All-Stars Series. The players will teach baseball fundamentals to youth players in Chaska and players in the Miracle League program.
When: Events will happen at the following times:
9 a.m. - Miracle League Clinic
9:30 a.m. - Chaska Youth Clinic

What: Later that day, and Saturday, Play Ball! Minnesota kicks off the 43rd Annual Play Ball! Minnesota High School Baseball All-Stars Series.

When: Games starting at 12:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 25
What: The Twins will sponsor the annual Play Ball! Minnesota Mr. Baseball Ms. Softball Award banquet. This award honors the top senior baseball and softball player from the state of Minnesota. College and professional scouts, as well as high school and college coaches, vote to determine the winners.
When: 12:00 p.m.
Where: Target Field - Carew Atrium
