Twins make final roster moves, finalizing Opening Day roster

The Minnesota Twins announced Wednesday that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Ryne Harper, and have optioned infielder Ronald Torreyes to Triple-A Rochester. Additionally, they have placed right-handed pitchers Matt Magill (right shoulder tendinitis) and Addison Reed (left thumb sprain), left-handed pitcher Gabriel Moya (left shoulder tendinitis), and

The Minnesota Twins announced Wednesday that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Ryne Harper, and have optioned infielder Ronald Torreyes to Triple-A Rochester. Additionally, they have placed right-handed pitchers Matt Magill (right shoulder tendinitis) and Addison Reed (left thumb sprain), left-handed pitcher Gabriel Moya (left shoulder tendinitis), and third baseman Miguel Sanó (right heal laceration) on the 10-day injured list.

The Twins 25-man Opening Day roster is now set (see below):

PITCHERS (11): José Berríos, Kyle Gibson, Ryne Harper, Trevor Hildenberger, Trevor May, Adalberto Mejía, Jake Odorizzi, Blake Parker, Martín Pérez, Michael Pineda and Taylor Rogers

CATCHERS (3): Willians Astudillo, Jason Castro and Mitch Garver

INFIELDERS (6): Ehire Adrianza, Tyler Austin, C.J. Cron, Marwin Gonzalez, Jorge Polanco and Jonathan Schoop

DESIGNATED HITTER (1): Nelson Cruz
