Washington Nationals Homestand Highlights for June 5-10

The upcoming homestand will feature something for every Nationals fan, with a series of special ticket events, giveaways, and on-field events. Highlights will include the third bobblehead giveaway of the season, featuring Ryan Zimmerman, the 14th annual Night OUT event, one of the largest LGBT nights in professional sports, an All-Star Game Tote Bag giveaway, and the return of Yoga in the Outfield.

The upcoming homestand will feature something for every Nationals fan, with a series of special ticket events, giveaways, and on-field events. Highlights will include the third bobblehead giveaway of the season, featuring Ryan Zimmerman, the 14th annual Night OUT event, one of the largest LGBT nights in professional sports, an All-Star Game Tote Bag giveaway, and the return of Yoga in the Outfield.
Also coming this month is the return of Brunch on the Baselines on Sunday, June 17. This special event allows fans to enjoy an all-inclusive brunch from the field while the Nationals take on the Blue Jays in Toronto. June 17 is Father's Day, so bring Dad and watch the Nationals from the baseline as the game is streamed on the scoreboard. The brunch menus will include: mini chicken & waffles with maple drizzle, egg white frittata with broccoli, seasonal fresh fruit salad with mint, simple syrup and agave nectar, mimosas, and a Bloody Mary bar. TUESDAY, JUNE 5
Night OUT: The Nationals invite fans to show their pride during the 14th annual Night OUT event, one of the largest LGBT nights in professional sports, on Tuesday, June 5 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Staff Sergeant Albert Mampre First Pitch: The Nationals are proud to welcome "Band of Brothers" surviving member Staff Sergeant Albert Mampre to throw a ceremonial first pitch as we observe the anniversary of D-Day. Staff Sergeant Mampre is one of the two surviving members of the famous "Band of Brothers" group, and was awarded the Purple Heart for his honorable actions in combat.

The Congressional Baseball Game for Charity: Returning to Nationals Park for 2018 is the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. All proceeds from this bipartisan event will go to Congressional Sports for Charity, a 501(c) nonprofit that produces bipartisan sporting events to raise funds for local charities that benefit children and families. BALLPARK SAFETY
Nationals Park is a completely non-smoking and tobacco-free facility per District of Columbia law. There is no exception for electronic cigarettes or any other type of smoking device, or for smokeless tobacco or any other type of tobacco product.
MLB and the Nationals require that all people entering Nationals Park walk through a metal detector or be screened with handheld metal detectors to search for prohibited items. This includes a thorough inspection of all jackets, coats, packages, bags, backpacks, purses, and any other containers brought to any of the Nationals Park entry gates.
