White Sox announce 2019 broadcast schedule

The Chicago White Sox, NBC Sports Chicago, WGN-TV, WGN Radio AM 720 and WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio have announced the team's television and radio broadcast schedules for the 2019 season.

The Chicago White Sox, NBC Sports Chicago, WGN-TV, WGN Radio AM 720 and WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio have announced the team's television and radio broadcast schedules for the 2019 season.u5:p
NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago+ will televise 106 White Sox games in 2019, beginning with Opening Day on March 28 at Kansas City (3:15 p.m. CDT). NBC Sports Chicago also will broadcast the home opener at Guaranteed Rate Field on April 4 vs. Seattle (1:10 p.m.), and one of the four games of the Crosstown series on June 19 (7:05 p.m.) at Wrigley Field.
WGN-TV will air 55 White Sox games this season, opening with its first telecast on March 31 at Kansas City (1:15 p.m.). WGN-TV also will televise two of the four Sox-Cubs match-ups, airing the games on June 18 (7:05 p.m.) at Wrigley Field and July 7 at Guaranteed Rate Field (1:10 p.m.). u5:p
The White Sox-Cubs game on July 6 at Guaranteed Rate Field (6:15 p.m.) will be broadcast nationally on FOX. Additional national broadcast games include July 13 at Oakland on Fox Sports 1 (locally on NBC Sports Chicago) and April 1 at Cleveland on ESPN (locally on WGN-TV).u5:p
All NBC Sports Chicago, NBC Sports Chicago+ and WGN telecasts will be available in high definition. All out-of-market White Sox games also are available live via MLB.TV across its more than 400 supported devices.u5:p
NBC Sports Chicago will air the following holiday games: Memorial Day, May 27 vs. Kansas City (1:10 p.m.), Father's Day, June 16 vs. the Yankees (1:10 p.m.), Independence Day, July 4 vs. Detroit (1:10 p.m.), Labor Day, September 2 at Cleveland (6:10 p.m.) and Remembrance Day, September 11 vs. Kansas City (7:10 p.m.). WGN-TV will broadcast the game on Mother's Day, May 12 at Toronto (12:07 p.m.).u5:p
Steve Stone, who enters his 11th season in the television booth and 12th with the club, will continue to provide fans with the color analysis during the season. Jason Benetti, who begins his fourth year with the Sox, will handle play-by-play duties alongside Stone for the 2019 season.u5:p
WGN Radio, entering its second year as the White Sox flagship radio station, will broadcast all 162 games. The on-air duo of former Sox pitcher Ed Farmer (play-by-play) and former outfielder Darrin Jackson (analyst) returns for its 11th season together. u5:p 
WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio returns for its fifth consecutive year as the Spanish-language radio home of White Sox baseball following a seven-year run from 2005-11. WRTO-AM will broadcast all 81 Sox home games during the 2019 season. Héctor Molina (play-by-play) and Billy Russo (color analyst) return as the club's Spanish-language broadcast team.u5:p
