CHICAGO -- Following today’s game vs. Seattle, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Ryan Cordell to Class AAA Charlotte.
Cordell, 26, batted .333 (2-6) with one double, one home run and three RBI over five games with the White Sox this season.
The Sox will make a corresponding move prior to tomorrow’s game vs. Tampa Bay.
