June 13th, 2016

The Chicago White Sox will join Major League Baseball, as well as all MLB clubs and players, to celebrate Father's Day in a special effort to raise awareness and fund research for prostate cancer.
On Father's Day, White Sox players, managers, coaches and trainers will wear blue wristbands and blue ribbon uniform decals. Additionally, major league clubs will celebrate Father's Day in specially designed uniforms for the first time. The White Sox Father's Day uniforms and caps will incorporate light blue into regular logos against a grey background, as the team will play in Cleveland on June 19. Major League Baseball will donate royalties earned from the sales of licensed Father's Day jerseys and caps to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and Stand Up To Cancer.
The White Sox will honor Prostate Cancer Foundation Chairman Mike Milken on Monday, June 13, in a pregame on-field ceremony. The foundation will be presented with a donation from Chicago White Sox Charities to support the official Prostate Cancer Home Run Challenge, as well as its efforts to find a cure.
Each year, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Major League Baseball join together for the annual Home Run Challenge. Leading up to the challenge, fans can pledge a donation for every home run hit from June 13 through June 19. During this time, the foundation tours the country visiting major league ballparks to raise awareness about prostate cancer research and invite fans everywhere to donate at homerunchallenge.org. Since its inception, the Home Run Challenge program has raised more than $45 million.
