The New York Yankees today announced that they have acquired outfielder Tito Polo and left-handed pitcher Stephen Tarpley from the Pittsburgh Pirates as the players to be named later to complete the trade that sent right-handed pitcher Ivan Nova to Pittsburgh on August 1, 2016.

He was originally selected by Baltimore in the third round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, and was acquired by the Pirates, along with a player to be named later (left-handed pitcher Steven Brault), in exchange for outfielder Travis Snider on January 27, 2015.
