Wednesday – Volunteer Corps Roc Solid Playground Build
In partnership with Roc Solid Foundation, 100 members of the White Sox Volunteer Corps, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, will gather for a lively, high-impact event that will take place at the ballpark to build backyard playsets that will be gifted to kids fighting cancer.
Wednesday – Roland Hemond Award Presentation
The White Sox will recognize the 2024 recipient of the organization’s Roland Hemond Award, created to celebrate selfless individuals who have gone above and beyond for others in the community. This year’s recipient will throw the game’s ceremonial first pitch and receive a $2,500 donation to the nonprofit organization of their choosing. Wednesday – Charities Day
Charities Day returns, presented by NBC Sports Chicago, simultaneous to the telecast of Wednesday’s game. Beginning at 7 p.m., fans can support White Sox Charities to receive limited-edition items, including t-shirts and socks featuring John Schriffen, Steve Stone, Ozzie Guillen and Chuck Garfien, mystery autographed baseballs, water bottles and more.
