Relief for Venezuela

Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) and the Guillén Family have launched a Relief for Venezuela fundraiser, a week-long initiative benefiting earthquake relief and recovery efforts in Venezuela, in conjunction with Ozzie’s uniform No. 13 retirement scheduled for Saturday, August 8 vs. Cleveland.

Through Sunday, August 9, fans have two ways to support the campaign. Fans can bid on a collection of once-in-a-lifetime Ozzie experiences and autographed memorabilia. Additionally, fans can support the relief efforts with a donation of $13 or more.

All proceeds from the campaign will benefit the American Red Cross Venezuela Earthquake Relief and Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). CWSC is matching fan donations up to $25,000 to further incentivize support for relief efforts.
