White Sox Charities is honoring White Sox Hall-of-Famer Harold Baines with a limited-edition talking bobblehead. Celebrating his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, the bobblehead features Baines' iconic batting stance in the 1983 White Sox uniform. The bobblehead includes a recording of Baines' one-word quote, "evidently."
Each purchase includes a limited-edition certificate. All proceeds will benefit CWSC and the YMCA of the Chesapeake in Baines' hometown of St. Michaels, Maryland.
This is the sixth consecutive year that CWSC has held a bobblehead fundraising campaign. Previous campaigns have commemorated former team captain Paul Konerko in 2014, first baseman Jose Abreu in 2015, legendary two-sport athlete Bo Jackson in 2016, Hall-of-Famer Tim "Rock" Raines in 2017 and A.J. Pierzynski in 2018 - raising a combined total of more than $500,000 for CWSC.
