TORONTO BLUE JAYS 2020 SEASON UPDATE

Last Updated: 03-16-20

For the health and safety of Blue Jays fans, staff, and players, the club is in full support of Major League Baseball’s decision to suspend the remainder of Grapefruit League play in Florida and delay the start of the 2020 regular season. Major League Baseball has announced the opening of the 2020 regular season will be pushed back in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to restrict events of more than 50 people for the next eight weeks. As such, we wanted to reach out to Blue Jays fans to address the extended pause in our season.

MLB is committed to playing as many games as possible, as soon as it is safe to do so. We ask that Blue Jays fans with tickets to regular season games hold on to them for the time being. We will share MLB plans for the 2020 schedule when they become available. We thank you for your patience and support during this unprecedented time.

The Blue Jays are implementing the following ticketing refund policy for the remainder of Spring Training in Florida. If you have purchased tickets for Spring Training games at TD Ballpark, we will honour refunds through your point of purchase:

  • If you purchased online through Ticketmaster directly or through bluejays.com, we will automatically initiate refunds in the coming days.
  • If you are a Spring Training Season Ticket Member, you will be automatically refunded for the suspended games.
  • If you purchased through a secondary market provider or third-party, such as StubHub, please contact them directly to process your refund.
  • If you purchased at the TD Ballpark Box Office, please contact the Ticketing team at [email protected] or 1.888.525.5297 to determine the refund process that works best for you.

We promise to keep you updated during this challenging and uncertain period. In the meantime, we urge everyone to exercise the preventative measures recommended by public health authorities, so we can all get back to the ballpark soon.
