Status: The Cardinals plan for Fernandez to throw side sessions June 15 and 17 with the possibility of starting a rehab assignment with Memphis the 19th depending on the outcome of the bullpen sessions. (Updated: June 15)

Injury: Right/left elbow lateral epicondylitis

Status: Had a setback during his rehab and is now dealing with a left elbow issue similar to the right elbow injury that sent him to the IL. He was transferred to the 60-day IL on June 12. (Updated: June 12)
