GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- While the biggest baseball stars will come together at Progressive Field during the All-Star break this July, the Indians and Major League Baseball will provide fans with their own opportunity to play and experience the game just a few blocks away.

A new interactive baseball festival, PLAY BALL PARK, will arrive inside and outside the Huntington Convention Center from Friday, July 5 through Tuesday, July 9. The outside activities will be free to all fans, while the indoor activities will be ticketed.

Fans can now purchase their tickets at AllStarGame.com. Adult tickets cost $25, and children’s and senior citizen’s tickets cost $18. From 10 a.m. ET on Thursday until 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, fans can purchase specially discounted tickets for $10 by using promo code PBPD.

The free outdoor activities include hitting in batting cages, pitching on fields, participating in drills with rising stars, former All-Stars, coaches and Olympians, and enjoying live music. If ticketed, fans can go inside to see some of this year’s All-Stars, get pictures will Hall of Famers and other superstars, participate in a virtual reality Home Run Derby, visit National Baseball Hall of Fame exhibits and much more.

Also new to the All-Star festivities, PLAY BALL PARK will feature a music stage outside the convention center with local food trucks lining the streets. A zipline will also be part of the attraction, allowing people to soar above the baseball festival.
