PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have avoided arbitration and agreed to one-year contracts with the following players: catcher Welington Castillo, left-handed pitcher Patrick Corbin (@PatrickCorbin46) and right-handed pitchers Rubby De La Rosa (@RubbyDelarosa), Randall Delgado, Daniel Hudson (@DHuddy41) and Shelby Miller (@ShelbyMiller19). D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart made the announcement.
Castillo, 28, established career highs in home runs, RBI and runs scored with the Cubs, Mariners and D-backs in 2015, hitting .237 (81-for-342) with 15 doubles, 19 home runs and 57 RBI in 110 games. Castillo, who led all National League catchers in home runs, hit .255 (70-for-274) with 13 doubles, 17 home runs and 50 RBI in 80 games after being acquired by Arizona on June 3. The 5-foot-10, 210-pounder has 32 home runs since 2014, the fifth-most of any Major League catcher. 
Corbin, 26, returned to the D-backs last season after missing 2014 due to Tommy John surgery and was 6-5 with a 3.60 ERA (34 ER in 85.0 IP) in 16 starts. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound southpaw owns a lifetime 26-21 record with a 3.75 ERA (167 ER in 400.1 IP) in 70 games (65 starts) over parts of 3 seasons with the D-backs. Corbin was named to the 2013 NL All-Star Team and was selected by the Arizona Chapter of the BBWAA as the D-backs' Most Valuable Pitcher.
De La Rosa, 26, established career highs in virtually all categories in 2015, going 14-9 with a 4.67 ERA (98 ER in 188.2 IP) and 150 strikeouts in 32 starts. He was 1 of 4 pitchers in team history with 14+ wins in their first season with the club, joining Randy Johnson (17 in 1999), Dan Haren (16 in 2008) and Andy Benes (14 in 1998). The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder limited right-handed hitters to a .214 average (78-for-364), the ninth-best mark in the NL.
Delgado, 25, set career bests in ERA (3.25), wins (8) and appearances (64) with the D-backs in 2015, going 8-4 with a 3.25 ERA (26 ER in 72.0 IP) in 64 games (1 start). Delgado ranked among NL relievers in wins (T-1st), strikeouts (T-12th) and innings (14th) while his 8 wins are tied for third most by a D-backs reliever in a single season.
Hudson, 28, went 4-3 with 4 saves and a 3.86 ERA (29 ER in 67.2 IP) in a career-high 64 games (1 start) in 2015, his first full season following 2 Tommy John surgeries. The longest tenured member of the D-backs, Hudson is entering his seventh season with the club and owns a lifetime 32-21 record with a 3.77 ERA (189 ER in 451.2 IP) in 129 games (59 starts). 
Miller, 25, established career highs in ERA (3.02), quality starts (21), starts (33), strikeouts (171) and innings pitched (205.1) in 2015 and was named to his first National League All-Star Team. Among active pitchers with at least 90 starts, Miller's career 3.22 ERA (206 ER in 575.1 IP) is eighth-best, trailing Clayton Kershaw (2.43), Chris Sale (2.91), Adam Wainwright (2.98), Madison Bumgarner (3.04), David Price (3.09), Stephen Strasburg (3.09) and Felix Hernandez (3.11). Additionally, since the 2013 season, Miller ranks fifth among NL starters with 95 starts and ninth with 561.2 IP  
Outfielder A.J. Pollock is the D-backs' only remaining arbitration eligible player.
