A's Recall Ladendorf ; Option Overton

The Oakland A's recalled infielder/outfielder Tyler Ladendorf from Triple-A Nashville and optioned left-handed pitcher Dillon Overton to Nashville, the club announced today.

The Oakland A's recalled infielder/outfielder Tyler Ladendorf from Triple-A Nashville and optioned left-handed pitcher Dillon Overton to Nashville, the club announced today.
Ladendorf joins the A's for the third time this year and is 2-for-25 (.080) in 26 games with Oakland. He went 0-for-2 in six games during his first stint from April 22 to May 5 and then hit .087 in 19 games during his second stay from May 10 to June 17. The 27-year-old right-handed hitter is batting .273 with a home run and five RBI in 25 games with Nashville where he has appeared in 15 games in center field, five in left field and five at shortstop. Ladendorf hit .344 in nine games with the Sounds following his June 18 option.
Overton was selected from Nashville last Saturday and went 1-1 with an 11.42 ERA in two starts in his Major League debut. After defeating the Angels on Saturday for his first win, he allowed eight runs on eight hits and three walks in 3.0 innings in a loss last night to the Giants. Overton is 8-4 with a 3.01 ERA in 14 games, 13 starts, at Nashville.
