D-backs reinstate A.J. Pollock from 60-day disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) reinstated OF A.J. Pollock from the 60-day disabled list (fractured right elbow), and transferred OF David Peralta to the 60-day disabled list (right wrist inflammation), as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart. Following last night's game, OF Mitch Haniger was optioned to Triple-A Reno.

Pollock from the 60-day disabled list (fractured right elbow), and transferred OF David Peralta to the 60-day disabled list (right wrist inflammation), as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart. Following last night's game, OF Mitch Haniger was optioned to Triple-A Reno.
 
Pollock, 28, appeared in 12 rehab games between Reno, Single-A Visalia and the AZL D-backs, batting .425 (17-for-40) with 5 doubles, 3 home runs, 12 RBI, 7 walks and 2 stolen bases. He suffered a fractured right elbow on April 1 in an exhibition game vs. Royals, and underwent surgery on April 5.
 
Pollock was named to his first NL All-Star Team, earned his first Rawlings ® Gold Glove Award, and established career highs in average (.315), on-base pct. (.367), OPS (.865), doubles (39), home runs (20), stolen bases (39), RBI (76), runs scored (111) and hits (192) in 2015.
 
Peralta , 29, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on August 7 and underwent surgery on his right wrist on August 11. He hit .251 (43-for-171) with 9 doubles, 5 triples, 4 homers and 15 RBI in 48 games with the D-backs this season.
 
Haniger, 25, appeared in 10 games for Arizona this season, batting .237 (9-for-38) with 2 doubles, 1 triple and 6 RBI.
