Blue Jays Minor Leaguer Montero suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Toronto Blue Jays Minor League first baseman Jesus Montero has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for dimethylbutylamine (DMBA), a stimulant in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Toronto Blue Jays Minor League first baseman Jesus Montero has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for dimethylbutylamine (DMBA), a stimulant in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. 
The suspension of Montero, who is currently on the roster of Triple-A Buffalo of the International League, will be effective at the beginning of next season.
