DODGERS ANNOUNCE POP-UP MUSEUM AT DODGER STADIUM

The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced a pop-up museum at Dodger Stadium located in the left-field reserve level team store. The exhibit opens Friday, December 2. The Dodgers' offseason exhibit features pieces from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Gary Cypres' world-renowned sports memorabilia collection, items on loan from former Dodger players and pieces from the Los Angeles Dodgers' archives. LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced a pop-up museum at Dodger Stadium located in the left-field reserve level team store. The exhibit opens Friday, December 2. The Dodgers' offseason exhibit features pieces from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Gary Cypres' world-renowned sports memorabilia collection, items on loan from former Dodger players and pieces from the Los Angeles Dodgers' archives. Admission tickets to the Dodgers' pop-up museum can be purchased at www.dodgers.com/museum.
The Dodgers' pop-up museum includes the National Baseball Hall of Fame's Picturing America's Pastime photo exhibit. Picturing America's Pastime, an extension of the Museum's exhibit in Cooperstown, features 51 framed photographs representing the Hall of Fame's collection of approximately a quarter million images. Also included are items on loan from Gary Cypres which feature Jackie Robinson, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Johnny Podres and Ebbets Field artifacts. Artifacts from the Dodgers' historical collections will be on display including a baseball signed by the 1953 National League All-Star team, Shawn Green's broken bat and Mike Piazza's catcher's equipment. Items on loan by former Dodgers include Fernando Valenzuela's 1981 NL Cy Young award. The exhibit will also feature Vin Scully items, jerseys, game-used bats and a display honoring Corey Seager (2016 NL Rookie of the Year), Dave Roberts (2016 NL Manager of the Year) and Clayton Kershaw (2014 MVP and Cy Young Award Winner).
The Dodgers' pop-up museum opens to the public on select dates this offseason into Spring Training from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: December 2-4, December 9-11, December 16-18, December 23 and 24, December 26 - 31, January 2, January 6-8, January 13-16, January 20-22, January 27-29, February 3-5, February 10-12, February 17-20, February 24-26 and March 3-5.
Admission to the exhibit at Dodger Stadium is just $10. Fans are encouraged to purchase in advance by visiting www.dodgers.com/museum. Fans will be directed to park in lot P where they may also purchase admission tickets. Fans joining a Stadium Tour on open exhibit dates will have the opportunity to visit the museum. Pricing is as follows for a Dodger Stadium tour and access to the exhibit: adult ticket $23, child/senior/military with valid I.D. $18, clubhouse tour $53 and group ticket prices offer a $3 add-on for exhibit access.
