2016 PirateFest autograph tickets on-sale dates and details

Tickets for group autograph sessions at the 2016 PirateFest, presented by Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh, will be made available starting this week at pirates.com/PirateFest with six total groups available to the general public and four additional groups available to Season Ticket Members only. Each group features a mix of current and/or former Pirates players as well as Pirates minor league prospects.

Tickets for group autograph sessions at the 2016 PirateFest, presented by Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh, will be made available starting this week at pirates.com/PirateFest with six total groups available to the general public and four additional groups available to Season Ticket Members only. Each group features a mix of current and/or former Pirates players as well as Pirates minor league prospects.
Admission to PirateFest is FREE to the general public on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11, with tickets to each autograph session/group available for a $20 donation to support Pirates Charities, the Salvation Army/ Western Pennsylvania Division and Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh. Each session will be limited to 200 fans per 90-minute session and each $20 donation will assure fans a chance to meet and receive autographs from up to three Pirates celebrities.
Pirates Season Ticket Members who chose PirateFest as one of their membership experiences will receive the first opportunity to purchase passes to each autograph session starting tomorrow, Friday, December 2 at 10 a.m. All Season Ticket Members will then receive a presale opportunity tomorrow, December 2, starting at 2 p.m., prior to the public on-sale scheduled for Monday, December 5 at Noon. All schedules and tickets will be available at pirates.com/PirateFest and tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Fans who purchase autograph tickets will be guaranteed autographs for their specific sessions and will have the opportunity to pick and choose those they wish to attend. All players schedules are subject to change.

In addition, special autograph sessions for all kids 14-and-under do not require a donation and will be available throughout the event. These "Kids Only" PirateFest sessions will take place continuously throughout the event and will be announced on-site at PirateFest.
All proceeds from the autograph sessions at the 2016 PirateFest will benefit Pirates Charities and the Salvation Army "Project Bundle-Up" effort and the Catholic Charities Winter Warming Center in downtown Pittsburgh. The Salvation Army's "Project Bundle Up" provides new winter outerwear for disadvantaged kids, who may have only previously worn second-hand coats, helping to improve their self-esteem. The Catholic Charities Winter Warming Center is a place where those in need can go when the daytime high temperature is below 32 degrees. The warming station, located at The Susan Zubik Welcome Center in downtown Pittsburgh, will be open for those in need throughout the winter months.
Fans are encouraged to bring new winter outerwear items to the Pirates Charities booth to support the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities. In exchange for donated items, fans will receive a specially designed Pirates oven mitt.

mitt for one pair of boots, 1 mitt for two hats, pairs of gloves or scarves.

The popular Piratefest weekend includes activities for the entire family such as live events, autograph sessions with current and former Pirates players, prizes, games, youth baseball clinics and visits with the Pirate Parrot. Also fans will have the ability to purchase Season Ticket Memberships, Pirates 412 Holiday Six Pack ticket plans, and more.
