Indians invite LHP Chris Narveson to Major League Camp

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Spring Training roster:
 
Signed free agent LHP CHRIS NARVESON to a Minor League contract with a non-roster invitation to Major League spring training camp.
 
Narveson, 35, owns a career Major League record of 30-19 with a 4.71 ERA in 118 games/65 starts over eight Major League seasons with St. Louis, Milwaukee and Miami. The Charlotte, NC native posted double-digit win totals with the Brewers in 2010 and 2011 and was the second round pick (53rd overall) of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2000 First-Year Player Draft.
 
He split the 2016 season in the Miami Marlins organization and was a member of Miami's Opening Day roster. At Triple-A New Orleans he limited left-handed batters to a .218 (26/119) average against and posted a 3.60 ERA in 15 starts (80.0IP, 69H, 32ER).
