ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves have launched Los Bravos, an inclusive organizational initiative that will be executed in conjunction with the Latino community in Atlanta. Los Bravos will include a season-long in-language advertising and messaging strategy that will be paired with community programs and specialty merchandise items.
In an unveiling event earlier today, the Atlanta Braves also revealed specialty uniforms featuring the Los Bravos logo that the team will wear on September 17 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
"Connecting with all members of the Atlanta community is incredibly important to our organization," said Braves President of Business Derek Schiller. "The Latino community is not only a vital piece of Atlanta, but also of baseball, which makes Los Bravos a natural fit. We could not be more pleased to launch Los Bravos with the help of our tremendous partners and strengthen our relationship with the Latino community."
In-language advertising featuring current and former Latino Braves players will be supplemented by La Mejor serving as the Official Broadcast Partner of Los Bravos, which will include broadcasting every Sunday game in Spanish throughout the season. Additionally, the Braves have partnered with Univision, Telemundo and El Patron. As part of the partnership with Univision, the Braves will serve as the presenting sponsor of their studio located at Plaza Fiesta, recently named Los Bravos Studio.

Los Bravos will extend to Facebook (Facebook.com/bravosdeatlanta), Twitter (@LosBravos) and a dedicated website (losbravosbeisbol.com) for the Latino community to connect with the Braves through in-language mediums.
Throughout the Latino community, Los Bravos will be a part of events, volunteer opportunities and other platforms made possible with support from community partners such as Plaza Fiesta, the Latin American Association of Atlanta, the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Corporate Council.
At SunTrust Park, the Los Bravos initiative will culminate in a variety of ways. In addition to bilingual gameday staff, there will also be in-language wayfinding signage throughout the park. More than 15 special merchandise items featuring Los Bravos will be sold exclusively in the Braves Clubhouse Store, including jersey t-shirts featuring Ender Inciarte, Julio Teheran and other Latino members of the Braves.
