Following yesterday's game at Colorado, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Willy Garcia to Class AAA Charlotte.
García, 24, is batting .259 (22-85) with five doubles, three triples, one home run, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored in 35 games over two stints with the White Sox this season, his first in the major leagues.
The Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to Friday's game vs. Seattle to open the second half.
