For the seventh consecutive year, the Marlins Foundation has donated $20,000 to fund a back to school supplies distribution alongside the Kiwanis of Little Havana. The three-day distribution will take place from Tuesday, August 22, to Thursday, August 24 at neighborhood schools. This tradition aims to excite and prepare students for the upcoming school year by providing school supplies to thousands of children. All the students at each school will receive a backpack containing pencils, notebooks, folders, safety scissors, a glue stick, crayons, a ruler, markers, composition books, and paper.
