The Battery Atlanta to host Spooktacular Halloween festivities October 28-29

The Battery Atlanta will be a fright on October 28 and 29 as they host Halloween activities for kids, adults and pets.
 
On Saturday, October 28, the Coca-Cola Roxy will host Aunt Yvonnes Lil' Monster Mash presented by The Home Depot, a kid-friendly Halloween dance party featuring DJ Yvonne Monet. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the first 50 kids will receive a gift bag featuring goodies from Monkey Joe's and the first 100 kids will receive a pumpkin to decorate alongside The Home Depot Tools mascots. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.cocacolaroxy.com.
 
Later that evening, Q100 presents Zombie Ball inside the Coca-Cola Roxy. Horrifying décor by Chambers of Horror will be the setting as DJ Yvonnes Monet spins tunes while psychic readings by Delilah will surely frighten guests sipping on specialty cocktails. There will be a $1,000 cash prize for first place and $500 for 2nd place, so come dressed to impress the deadly. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.cocacolaroxy.com.
 
On Sunday, October 29, a Howl-O-Ween pet parade will take place on the lawn in The Battery Atlanta. Registration begins at noon and the furry friends will strut their stuff with family members at 1 p.m. to compete for best costume prizes in a variety of categories like Scariest, Best Owner/Dog Duo, Best Overall, etc. Fox Sports South's Braves reporter, Kelsey Wingert, will be the event's emcee.
 
In addition to the costume contest, there will be family friendly activities taking place - a doggie kissing booth provided by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, a photo booth, music and dancing, face painting, corn hole and an appearance by The Home Depot Tools - throughout the Plaza, wrapping up a 3 p.m. There will also be dogs available for adoption.
