FLUSHING, N.Y., February 9, 2018 - East Coast Power & Gas, a premier energy services company that provides electricity, natural gas and renewable sources of energy to both commercial and residential customers in New York and New Jersey, announced today that it has renewed its partnership with the New York Mets to remain a sponsor and the official energy supplier for the baseball team.
The renewal runs through the 2020 season and continues to include major advertising assets in the ballpark as well as digitally and on the Mets network, SNY.
Vincent Palmieri, Chief Operating Officer, East Coast Power & Gas, said, "We are excited to be continuing our extremely successful partnership with the Mets. Getting this deal renewed was a top priority for us. We recognized early on that this partnership had considerable value in providing us the platform to spread the word about East Coast Power & Gas and the opportunity to act on and deliver on our message with innovative products and competitive pricing to the Mets…and the region. The Mets are an organization and brand that share our values of hard work, fierce competitiveness and fair play. The Mets were our first major partnership and because of that successful experience we have continued to seek out additional opportunities to align ourselves with other well thought of and respected brands and organizations."
Mr. Palmieri added, "At East Coast, we take immense pride in providing our customers a one-stop energy solution with our competitive prices, innovative products and impeccable service. "Our partnership with East Coast Power & Gas demonstrates the great support we have from yet another New York-based company," said Mets Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer Lou DePaoli. "East Coast Power & Gas has an impressive history in the energy business and we are proud to continue with them as a long-term partner."
The announcement comes on the heels of the company's recently publicized deals with both Rutgers University Athletics, the region's Power Five school and Hunter Mountain, the Great Northern Catskills' premier four-season resort. East Coast Power & Gas is also the official energy provider and partner to the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.
