Pirates 2018 Spring Training broadcast schedule released

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the complete broadcast schedule for the team's 2018 Spring Training Grapefruit League games. The broadcast schedule begins with the radio broadcast of the team's Spring Training Opener vs. the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 p.m. on Friday, February 23 in Port Charlotte.

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the complete broadcast schedule for the team's 2018 Spring Training Grapefruit League games. The broadcast schedule begins with the radio broadcast of the team's Spring Training Opener vs. the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 p.m. on Friday, February 23 in Port Charlotte.
 
Fans will have the opportunity to watch or listen on every scheduled game during the Pirates 2018 Grapefruit League season via team official broadcast partners AT&T SportsNet, SPORTSRADIO 93-7 THE FAN and the Pirates Radio Network as well as webcasts on pirates.com. Throughout the spring schedule, five games are planned as dual broadcast and will be available on both television and radio in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Pirates television partner AT&T SportsNet will carry 12 Pirates games this Grapefruit League season, including one of two night games planned this spring with the Pirates playing host to the Toronto Blue Jays at LECOM Park on Thursday, March 22 at 6:05 p.m. Two Spring Training games will start with a 30-minute full Pregame and conclude with a 30-minute full Postgame show.
In addition to the 12 Spring Training games, AT&T SportsNet will air exclusive Pirates programming prior to the start of the season with new editions of Inside Pirates Baseball, with an in-depth Spring Training show and a 2018 Season Preview.
On the radio side, SPORTSRADIO 93-7 The Fan and the Pirates Radio Network will carry a total of 17 Spring Training contests, beginning with the Opener vs the Rays. In addition to the broadcast schedule, the Pirates exclusive radio partner will provide complete updates throughout the entire Spring Training schedule.
All Pirates Grapefruit League games not telecast on AT&T SportsNet or broadcast on SPORTSRADIO 93-7 The Fan and the Pirates Radio Network, can be heard via webcast at pirates.com.
Steve Blass, Greg Brown, Joe Block, Bob Walk and John Wehner will once again call the action throughout the 2018 season. Brown and Block will handle the play-by-play duties while Blass, Walk and Wehner serve as color analysts.
