SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres today announced that they have agreed to terms with 26 players on contracts for the 2018 season. Executive Vice President/General Manager A.J. Preller made the announcement.
Agreeing to terms were right-handed pitchers Miguel Diaz, Dinelson Lamet, Walker Lockett, Phil Maton, Bryan Mitchell, Luis Perdomo, Colin Rea, Rowan Wick; left-handed pitchers Buddy Baumann, José Castillo, Kyle McGrath, Matt Strahm, Jose Torres, Brad Wieck; infielders Carlos Asuaje, Allen Córdoba, Javy Guerra, Christian Villanueva; outfielders Franchy Cordero, Alex Dickerson, Travis Jankowski, Manuel Margot, Jose Pirela, Hunter Renfroe; and catchers Austin Hedges and Luis Torrens.
With the announcement, all players on the 40-man roster are now under contract for the 2018 season.
