Washington to host Geico All-Star FanFest and MLB All-Star Sunday for first time

Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals today announced that fans are now able to purchase tickets for two of All-Star Week's most exciting events for fans: GEICO All-Star FanFest and All-Star Sunday, which features the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game.

Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals today announced that fans are now able to purchase tickets for two of All-Star Week's most exciting events for fans: GEICO All-Star FanFest and All-Star Sunday, which features the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. For 48 hours following the launch of tickets going on sale, a "Flash" discount featuring a $10 FanFest ticket good for any time slot will be offered. The promo code for this discount, which is valid online only, is FFAS. Tickets for FanFest and All-Star Sunday can be purchased at the official website of the MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard (allstargame.com), the Nationals official website (nationals.com), the Nationals Ticket Windows at Nationals Park beginning in May, and by calling 833-4ASGFUN. Mastercard, preferred by Major League Baseball, is an accepted form of payment.
GEICO ALL-STAR FANFEST

GEICO All-Star FanFest this year takes place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the first time the event is taking place in the nation's capital. FanFest opens Friday, July 13th and runs through Tuesday, July 17th, with more than 50 interactive attractions for fans of all ages. Throughout the show floor, fans will have the chance to win prizes, including tickets to the Midsummer Classic, by participating in the FanFest Experience Pass, a digital fan engagement platform. Fans can take photos and get autographs with the current stars of the game, meet former Olympians and members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Fans also have the opportunity to test their skills in pitching and batting cages that feature the latest analyzing technology, while a collection of MLB trophies, including the Commissioner's Trophy, will be on display. Even exhibits directly from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY will be transported to Washington, D.C. for All-Star FanFest, enabling fans to see historic memorabilia up close. Legendary stars and current superstar players who have previously attended FanFest include Miguel Cabrera, Rod Carew, Bryce Harper, Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz and Giancarlo Stanton, in addition to Olympic softball champions Lisa Fernandez & Jennie Finch.
GEICO All-Star FanFest attractions are included in the price of admission, and the only additional costs are for concessions and merchandise. Tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for children ages 12 and under (children two and under are admitted free), senior citizens and military personnel. FanFest tickets are sold on a timed-entry basis, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early to get preferred entry times.
MLB ALL-STAR SUNDAY

Single game tickets to MLB All-Star Sunday are offered at a range of prices beginning as low as $55. Included in the price of an All-Star Sunday ticket is a single admission ticket to All-Star FanFest for Monday or Tuesday.

All-Star Sunday includes the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game showcases top Minor League prospects and has featured current Nationals Victor Robles (2017), Trea Turner (2015), Michael Taylor (2014), A.J. Cole (2013), Bryce Harper (2011), Gio Gonzalez (2006) and Howie Kendrick (2006). MLB All-Stars who have previously played in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game include José Altuve, Aaron Judge, Clayton Kershaw, Francisco Lindor, Giancarlo Stanton, Mike Trout, Justin Verlander and more.
The All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game will feature stars from film, music, television, digital and more teaming up with Hall of Famers and MLB greats to compete in a fun-filled, six-inning game immediately following the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. Past celebrity participants have included Jessica Biel, Sterling K. Brown, Snoop Dogg, Andy Cohen, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jimmy Kimmel, Macklemore, Chris Pratt, Chris Rock, J.K. Simmons, Chrissy Teigen, Miles Teller and Kate Upton. The game has also featured a collection of Hall of Famers including Andre Dawson, Rickey Henderson, Trevor Hoffman, Tim Raines, Ivan Rodriguez and Ozzie Smith.
MLB All-Star Week includes the 89th MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard at Nationals Park (July 17th), Gatorade All-Star Workout Day featuring the T-Mobile Home Run Derby (July 16th), All-Star Sunday featuring the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game (July 15th), GEICO All-Star FanFest at the Walter E.
