MONDAY, MAY 14
CRUSH'S HOMERS FOR HEARTS
CHRIS and JILL DAVIS will host the second annual "Crush's Homers for Hearts," a charity Home Run Derby event at Oriole Park from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET. Proceeds from the event will again benefit the Pediatric Heart Program of the University of Maryland Children's Hospital (UMCH) at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Participants will get the chance to warm up on the field, compete in a Home Run Derby challenge, enjoy complimentary food and drink, and take pictures with Chris and Jill. The Davis family will also host patients from UMCH for a longest ball T-ball challenge with help from Davis to see who can hit the longest ball. Crush's Homers for Hearts media availability will happen in the visitor's dugout from approximately 5:45 to 6:00 p.m.
TUESDAY, MAY 15
CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH: Giada De Laurentiis
The Orioles will welcome chef, writer, and Food Network personality, GIADA DE LAURENTIIS to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Tuesday's game. De Laurentiis is set to open GDL Italian by Giada, a restaurant at Baltimore's Horseshoe Casino, this month.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 16
FIELD TRIP DAY PRESENTED BY WJZ-TV
On Wednesday, over 9,000 students from local schools will attend the 12:35 p.m. game against the Phillies, for the 11th annual Field Trip Day presented by WJZ-TV. The students will have an opportunity to learn about weather from WJZ-TV's JESSICA KARTALIJA, MEG MCNAMARA, BOB TURK, and TIM WILLIAMS, as well as Orioles Head Groundskeeper NICOLE SHERRY and National Meteorologist CHRIS STRONG.
THURSDAY, MAY 17
BALTIMORE CITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S CUP
The Orioles will host a press conference for the Baltimore City Council President's Cup baseball game on Thursday, leading up to the June 5 game at Oriole Park. The annual All-Star game will showcase public and private Baltimore City high school baseball players and serves to bring together players with diverse backgrounds, allowing them to interact with each other and form lasting and meaningful relationships. The press conference will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary Clubhouse, and parking is available in Lot A.
