A's reinstate RHP Casilla from the DL; Option RHP Dull to Nashville

The Oakland A's reinstated right-handed pitcher Santiago Casilla from the 10-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.

The Oakland A's reinstated right-handed pitcher Santiago Casilla from the 10-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitcher Ryan Dull to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.
 
Casilla had a save and a 3.32 ERA in 16 relief appearances when he was placed on the DL May 26 with a strained right shoulder. He was sent to Single-A Stockton on a rehab assignment on Tuesday and pitched that night at San Jose (1.0 ip, 1 h, 1 so). Casilla has the second lowest opponents slugging percentage among American League relievers (.194) and the sixth lowest batting average (.153).
 
Dull has a 5.06 ERA and .306 opponents batting average in 17 games over two stints with the A's. He was recalled most recently on May 19 and allowed two runs in five games and 6.0 innings. Dull has a 2.25 ERA in three games with Nashville.
