The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Jeff Hoffman from Triple-A Albuquerque and placed right-handed pitcher Antonio Senzatela on the 10-day disabled list with a blister on his right middle finger, retroactive to July 10.
 
•  Hoffman, 25, will be making his second stint on the active roster this season … will be the starting pitcher against the Seattle Mariners tonight, his first Major League start of the season … was recalled from Albuquerque on June 8 and made five relief appearances with a 10.13 ERA (5.1 IP, 6 ER) before being optioned back to Albuquerque on June 27 … started the season on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation before being reinstated and optioned to Triple-A on April 28 … in 13 starts with the Isotopes, has gone 3-4 with a 4.07 ERA (59.2 IP, 27 ER), 30 walks and 68 strikeouts … the Latham, N.Y., native is 6-9 with a 5.82 ERA (136.0 IP, 88 ER), 63 walks and 107 strikeouts across parts of three seasons with Colorado. 
 
• Senzatela, 23, has gone 3-2 with a 5.34 ERA (30.1 IP, 18 ER), nine walks and 20 strikeouts across 10 relief appearances and two starts … was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on July 3, his second stint with the Rockies after making the Opening Day roster, and went 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA (13.0 IP, 6 ER) in two starts … was 2-1 with a 6.23 ERA (17.1 IP, 12 ER), six walks and 14 strikeouts in 10 relief appearances in his first stint before being optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on May 4 … in eight starts with the Isotopes is 3-1 with a 2.15 ERA (37.2 IP, 9 ER), 12 walks and 42 strikeouts … in 48 career appearances, including 22 starts, across two seasons with Colorado, has gone 13-7 with a 4.80 ERA (165.0 IP, 88 ER), 56 walks and 122 strikeouts.
